H7 Tolerance
ISO 286-2 hole class: positive tolerance only, value proportional to the diameter. Market standard for shaft assemblies.
H7 means: lower limit = nominal (+0), upper limit = nominal + IT7. For Ø 50 mm: 50.000 to 50.025 mm (IT7 = 25 µm). It is the standard tolerance for H7/g6 fit (locational clearance).
How Hanna HR® delivers H7
Insert manufacturing tolerance: ±2.5 µm. Assembly repeatability: ≤ 3 µm. A margin of ~20 µm for process variation — comfortable for high production.
