Cylindrical shank clamping by side screw onto a flat recess. Simple, but with higher runout than collet or hydraulic chucks.
Weldon (DIN 1835-B) is the classic clamping system for cylindrical shank drills and mills. For precision reaming, hydraulic or shrink-fit is preferred.
